Action meetings are democracy in action within the League.  They are open to all League members who would like to make recommendations to the League Board about actions LWVBAE should take,for example,
•  to support or oppose ballot measures or

•  to observe or lobby on particular issues.

League members who are following the Council or other elected bodies or a particular Board or commission are also invited to come report on important upcoming or past actions that the League should know about or to recommend letters the League should write or statements they should give before that body.
