Voting is both a privilege and an obligation of citizenship.
The 2008 mock general election was held at Albany High School on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. It allows students the opportunity to “test drive” the voting experience.
Albany High students were able to participate in the following ways:
- Review the Obama-McCain comparison flyers prepared by Connect Academy students on:
- Health Care
- The Economy
- The War on Terror
- Study the Mock Election ballot.
- Follow links from the Rock the Mock Resource page to investigate ballot contests.
- Vote (if registered) between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22.
- Check back here after October 22, again after October 31, and again after November 4 to see how Albany High’s vote compares to the statewide Mock vote and the General Election results.
