State Ballot Proposition Analysis

The League of Women Voters of California has posted its non-partisan, detailed analysis of the propositions appearing on the November 2006 General Election Ballot.  Click here for access to this resource.

The Pros and Cons for each of the state ballot measures is also available.  Click here for access to this resource.

The Easy Voter Guide for the November 7th election is now available online.  It can be opened in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese.

And, don't forget the Secretary of State's site where you will find a link to the Official Voter Information Guide.

Prop. 89 (The Clean Money Initiative) is supported by the League of Women Voters.  You may not see TV ads arguing for it because the campaign has been unable to raise the money necessary to purchase time to run them.  However, the Yes on 89 web site has posted ads they would like to run. Take a look at http://www.cleanmoneyelections.org/ad/ (Stop the Pounding is especially effective.)
