The Climate Change Team did its part to support social distancing by hosting its first virtual meeting on Tuesday, March 31. It was hosted by the team leader, Eric Arens. Among the attendees was City of Albany Fellow Bianca Hutner, who gave a helpful presentation on ways we can all become more actively engaged in efforts to mitigate the climate crisis.
“Bianca did an excellent job putting together information to educate the public. In January, she put on a meeting that had 100 people,” climate team leader Eric Arens said. “I think it was a great virtual meeting that we had with someone who is actively doing things and telling the public how to electrify.”
