Wildfires are a problem and they are becoming hotter, larger, and more frequent, especially in the western United States. Wildfires destroy lives, livelihoods and property. And to make it worse, they exacerbate climate change.
Jessica Morse, Deputy Secretary for Forest and Wildfire Resilience at California Natural Resources Agency, will speak on what California is doing about wildfire mitigation and how California’s efforts compare with other states.
