The League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville will host Sam Pelts, who will take us on a visual journey including artwork!
About this event
Climate Change is one of many outcomes of our ability to remove coal, oil, and gas from the ground and place them in service of human ambition—converting ancient carbon to instant energy. Sam Pelts is the special project manager of the Codex Foundation (here in Berkeley). He will take us on a visual journey including artwork, poetry, critical writings, philosophical writings, manifestos, musical scores, conversations, historical or found photographs. Sam will explore with us multiple locations throughout the US and abroad during the summer and fall of 2021 including here in the Bay Area. Join us for this view of an amazing set of programs on Indigenous People’s Day.
Sign up to receive the Zoom link the weekend before and the day of the event!
