Emma Brower will be presenting some general information about The Nature Conservancy, their External Affairs efforts in the California State Legislature, a recent victory on plastic pollution in the ocean, and their broader oceanic program. She has been with the California Chapter of The Nature Conservancy for three years as a Loyal Donor Officer serving the Northern California region. She primarily works with members who have been donating to The Nature Conservancy for ten plus years, personally thanking them for their support and providing more detailed information on projects that align with their conservation priorities.  Emma came to The Nature Conservancy in 2019 after having worked as a community organizer for environmental causes.  She holds her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon.  She currently resides in Oakland, California.
