The Environmental Concerns Speaker Series will feature a talk by Dr. Martin Keller, Director of the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL). Dr. Keller opened NREL from Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he served as the Associate Laboratory Director for Energy and Environmental Sciences, part of the Department of Energy.
Working collaboratively with his leadership team, Keller has developed a strategy for NREL focused on three key initiatives: integrated energy pathways, circular economy, and electrons to molecules. This strategy drives, advanced scientific research, programs, projects, and partnerships at NREL.

Our Speaker Series on the environment has been ongoing for over 40 years for the LWVBAE. Our members are self selected for interest in our topics and our meetings are open to all.

We meet 7 months out of the year (Feb through May and September through November) on the second Monday of  the month from 7:30-9:00 pm. Check the League Calendar.
