You are cordially invited to join us for our next Mar Monte Monday on Monday, August 21st at 6pm in celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted American women the right to vote. Planned Parenthood Mar Monte will host a discussion with the former president and long-standing member of the League of Women Voters of the Eden Area, Penny Peck. The focus will be on the Women’s Suffrage movement, specifically highlighting the strategies and tactics employed by its leaders. Participants will explore ways to incorporate these tools and actions into ongoing battles for voting and reproductive rights.
