The Albany Library hosted “Documenting Hate -– Charlottesville and New American Nazis” November 20 as part of the ‘United against Hate Week”. It was a showing of  FRONTLINE ProPublica documentaries  narrated by the investigating correspondent, A.C. Thompson.

The documentaries made the demonstrations in Charlottesville much clearer and related them to the major white supremacist organizations. They showed A.C. Thompson’s complex investigations and the positive result he achieved. Most amazing was the relationships with other events like the bombing of the Synagogue in Pittsburgh PA and Timothy McVeigh’s bombing in Oklahoma City.
