This online event is a follow up to the November 2020 election, during which Berkeley voted yes to Measure II. As a result of the election, the PRC will end and a more powerful body called the PAB will begin its work in July 2021.
To kick things off, the city of Berkeley is reaching out to community members who might be interested in being part of the new PAB. Anyone familiar with community organizing, police procedures, and/or police oversight, is encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is on March 29, 2021.
