Join Juneteenth celebrations in Albany and Berkeley!
In Albany, Juneteenth is held every year and this year will take place from 10 AM to 5 PM on June 18th at 1251 Solano Avenue.
Come celebrate the history, culture and contributions of people of the African Diaspora. Enjoy live music, a craft fair, food vendors, art show, and more! Featured artists include Terrie Odabei, Al Lizard and The World Street Players, Valerie Troutt’s MoonCandy, Keith & The JC Kids, Skip the Needle, African Heritage Ensemble, Tiffany Austin, and DJ K-La V. albanyjuneteenth.com
In Berkeley, Juneteenth is held annually on Father’s Day on south Berkeley’s five-block Alcatraz-Adeline corridor from 11 AM to 7 PM. A full day of festivities celebrating African American music, culture, traditions, and Black History. It’s a huge family gathering with booths of food, entertainment, and art. Your League will be there, as requested, to conduct voter registration and provide election information. We are co-sponsors of the celebration! Please attend and volunteer with us at our table.
