As the next boycott quickly approaches on March 21st, here are reasons why you should participate and what to look out for.
The Nestle boycott begins on Friday, March 21st, and will last through Friday, March 28th. This series of boycotts is showing companies who have been eliminating their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies that the bottom line is really where it counts. These boycotts show companies that we hold power, and we don’t agree with their recent political choices. If we all work together, boycotts can make a difference.
Nestle is a brand that owns a variety of products ranging from cookie dough to bottled water to cat food. Please make sure that during the week of the boycott you are not purchasing any Nestle products, instead support small, local businesses. The Nestle boycott is the third in a series of many. There are currently boycotts scheduled until July 4th covering a range of companies and economic blackouts.
