Registering young and under-represented voters is urgent.  Agree?  Then come to our Pink Tea to meet the team. The Voter Services Planning Meeting follows the tea this Wed, Feb. 21, at 1. Meeting starts at 1:30.  We will be organizing into min-teams to handle various election tasks.

Why a pink tea?  Suffragists whose husbands or family didn’t agree with women’s suffrage would say they were going to a tea party when they were going to a campaign organizing meeting.

Working with the Election16 group at the high school, League President Adena Ishii and many colleagues have already registered and pre-registered 145 students at Berkeley High.  Let’s follow their example and register young people in all 3 of our cities.
