The League of Women Voters Litigation Team is pleased to roll out the election rapid response inbox. Please email [email protected] – cc [email protected] and [email protected] if there are incidents that disrupt the election. These may include, but are not limited to, voter intimidation, voter purges, violence, federal agents at the polls, voter registration issues, etc. In the coming weeks, we will provide more information as the last sprint unfolds.
You can also call the LWVC hotline at (888) 870-VOTE (8683) on Election Day from 7am to 8pm with any questions about exercising your right to vote or with reports of any election issues. We are in coalition with many organizations across the state and across the country. These include the ACLU, Common Cause, the Asian Law Caucus, California Black Power Network, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), and Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF).
We are watching and monitoring what happens in the days leading up to the election, Election Day, and the days that follow very closely. We stand ready to seek court intervention immediately for any illegal activity. League members will also be staffing our office on election day. We are located at 2530 San Pablo Avenue, Suite F and can be reached at 510-843-8824.
Do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to serve you and protect voters!
